[Course Introduction]
Teaching Objectives: Master the basic theories and fundamental skills of acupuncture, with a focus on accurately locating and understanding the indications of commonly used acupoints. Become familiar with acupuncture methods for the prevention and treatment of common diseases, and enhance the clinical skills of overseas practitioners and enthusiasts of traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture.

[Teaching Information]
The instructional content includes the basic theories of traditional Chinese medicine, the meridian pathways of acupuncture, acupoint location and indications, needling and moxibustion techniques, treatment principles for common clinical conditions, syndrome differentiation, and prescription of acupuncture points. The teaching method combines lectures with clinical practice, ensuring students learn to accurately locate and understand the indications of commonly used acupuncture points, and become proficient in acupuncture methods for the prevention and treatment of common diseases such as stroke, facial paralysis, asthma, insomnia, shoulder and back pain, and low back pain.

II. Class Requirements and Study Time
(1) Class size: 20 people
(2) Class start date: November 18, 2024—December 1, 2024, Monday to Friday (holidays and weekends off)
(3) Study time: Beijing time 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM
III. Certificate Award
Those who complete the courses specified in the entire teaching plan and pass the exams will be allowed to graduate and awarded graduation certificates.
IV. Fees
(1) Registration fee: CNY 600 per person
(2) Tuition fee: CNY 4000 per person
(3) Accommodation fee: Off-campus, approximately CNY 360 per room per day (prices may vary depending on the season)
(4) Meal fee:
1. Meal card fee: CNY 20 for meal card handling. If dining on campus, the fee must be paid.
2. Meal expenses: All meal expenses are at your own cost. If dining on campus, you must recharge your meal card.
(5) Insurance fee: Approximately CNY 90 (prices may vary)
(6) Other costs such as transportation are at your own expense.
V. Application Requirements
(1) Non-Chinese citizens from European countries, physically healthy, with no criminal records
(2) Age is generally 18-50 years old.
VI. Application Materials
(1) "Application Form for Foreign Students of Henan University of Chinese Medicine" (filled in Chinese or English);
(2) Scan of the first page (photo page) of the passport;
(3) Personal resume (in Chinese or English), including academic achievements and grades, work experience and performance, etc.
(4) Other application materials required by the school.
